I love this BUT it makes me sad cause I’ve had to cut off my parents (narcissism) and my husband’s mom passed over a decade ago & his dad is kinda... disconnected. 😿 Any tips on how to bring this into my family to benefit my 3-year-old when biological grandparents aren’t an option?
I know it is hard. Think of seeking out and building relationships with older generations that you are not related to! Maybe they are adopted great-uncles and aunts, or even time spent with the elderly in a volunteer setting. We can learn from the family we choose, too!
