Great reminder that children are inherently flexible and we are not locked into rules we’ve set in the past. My kids are still young enough to where the internet is not an issue, but I dread its arrival like the plague.
I am so grateful that we have waited to dive deep into technology with our kids. Neither my 8 or 13 year old own a devise personally. They both have a set number of hours they can watch on the weekend and subsequently technology has not become a huge issue in our home. We talk about the pros and cons and my oldest uses it for school. But we focus on using it instead of it using us by hijacking our time and attention.
