Welcome to Raising Good Humans with Dr. Aliza Pressman, now on Substack.
It's great to see you.
Happy New Year! Welcome to Raising Good Humans on Substack. This newsletter will continue to bring you the heart and science of parenting so you can be the parent you want to be, more often than not.
I’m excited to be here with you and to continue to provide a balanced approach to raising good humans. I am so honored to have your trust as you welcome me into your homes as RGH listeners, learners, and leaders.
If you’re reading this in your inbox, the good news is that you’re already on the ride with us. You’ll continue to receive a weekly newsletter from me in your inbox, content on Instagram, and (of course!) new episodes of the podcast each week. I’ve also launched a premium podcast subscription on Apple Podcasts for $2.99/ month that covers targeted topics - like discipline and resilience - in bite sized weekly episodes over the course of an 8 week season. These episodes are short, foundational supplements to the podcast without ads or guests… just us.
In order to keep this newsletter free for ALL parents, I’m also asking that you consider becoming a paid subscriber. For $5/month or $50/year, you’ll help me produce this content - and all of my content on Instagram - for free, and make the research around child development and practical parenting strategies accessible to everyone. This is an essential part of my commitment to this community, and I appreciate your support in making it happen.
If you're in a position to give more, I would also invite you to become one of my exclusive founding members, and receive a 30 minute 1:1 session with me. Cutting ahead of my 2 year waitlist, this session will allow you direct access in a live consultation via ZOOM, where we can focus on any of the issues that matter most to you. Founding memberships are limited, and available only while my schedule allows.
I’m looking forward to engaging this Substack community in new ways, with discussions, comments and more back and forth conversations around your parenting questions and experiences. If you enjoy this content, please share it with friends, post about it, and send me comments or feedback here, on Instagram, or via email at raisinggoodhumanspodcast@gmail.com.
Thank you all for being a part of this community and for your support. I promise to deliver science, balance, and support in as many ways as I can (new ideas are always welcome), so you can find more confidence in your most important role.
Warmly,
Aliza
